According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (August 5 to 6):

Cases reported:

• Residential burglary: 1
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1
• Possession of drugs: 1
• Reckless driving: 1
• Common assault: 1
• Traffic offences: 1
• Fraud: 1
• Illegal immigrants: 2
• Theft from motor vehicle: 1
• Theft: 3

Arrests:

• Possession of drugs: 1
• Illegal immigrants: 2

Burglary:

• Plymouth Street, Kenleaf.

The break-in took place yesterday (Monday).

Theft from motor vehicle:

• Two vehicles parked at an address along Milner Avenue were stripped of various parts including wheels and a radiator.

The theft took place yesterday.
