Ashley sets her sights on ‘Face of Pond’s’ title

The winner will be announced on August 21.

Pond’s South Africa is looking to give one woman the opportunity to take that next step and seize their moment as the next Face of Pond’s, and a local beauty, Ashley Pillay (24), aspires to be that.

The Geluksdal resident stood out from 15 000 entrants and was recently chosen as a top 10 finalist.

She stands in line to become an ambassador for this top-notch brand.

“It will be a great opportunity to build myself as a woman as I will use this platform to inspire young beautiful women to love and care for themselves,” Ashley said.

The winner will receive a R50 000 cash prize and plenty of modelling opportunities.

The young woman boasts beauty and brains and is currently studying at the Germiston Rand Airport AFOS Aviation Academy to become a pilot while she works at EOH Mthombo as an IT technician.

The commercial model is currently signed with the GAPA model agency and is most proud to have won the Dynamic Vision Face of Fashion Eyewear 2019 competition.

Ashley enjoys spending her spare time travelling, dancing and reading a good book.

The winner will be announced on August 21 based on their natural beauty and the ability to represent the Pond’s brand.
