Armed robbery:

• A man was assaulted and robbed of his cellphone and a toolbox at gunpoint on Tuesday evening.

The victim was held up by two men at an address along Voortrekker Road around 8.30pm.

The perpetrators are known to the victim.

Burglary:

• Frere Avenue.

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A car tyre and other valuables were stolen from the garage on the property.
