Daily crime watch

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (September 2 to 3):

Cases reported:

• Burglary: 1
• Fraud: 4
• Assault GBH: 1
• Shoplifting: 1
• Common assault: 1
• Theft: 1
• Malicious damage to property: 1
• Possession of stolen motor vehicle: 1
• Reckless driving: 1
• Theft out of motor vehicle: 1
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1

Arrests:

• Theft of motor vehicle: 2

Burglary:

• Colliery Road, Sunair Park.

The break-in took place on Saturday.

Stolen: A TV, an amplifier, liquor and other household items.

Theft out of motor vehicle:

• A large piece of canvas was stolen from a truck along Ergo Road in Maryvlei, yesterday (Monday).
