What not to give as a Christmas gift

Here is a list of things you shouldn't buy as gifts.

During this time of the year, almost everyone is trying to figure out what gifts to buy for their loved ones and friends.

It is not always easy to know what to buy, so here is a list of things you probably should not:

  • Cleaning supplies. It might seem like a good idea, but the recipient might take it differently.
  • Pets. Not everyone is ready for that responsibility. It requires planning and also time.
  • Gym Membership. Even if you mean well, signing someone up for a monthly gym membership is another gift that could be taken poorly.

  • Life insurance policy. During Christmas, most people want to celebrate and give thanks for the year. Imagine getting policy cover, let alone life cover.
  • Pajamas. Almost everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what they want to wear to bed. Some do not even wear pajamas.
  • Something that was not on the list of things the person wanted. If they wanted it, they would have included it in their list of things they want.
