Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – Two men robbed the driver of delivery vehicle in Dalview.

The incident took place at 10.35am as the victim was making a delivery along Gloucester Avenue.

A silver Toyota stopped alongside the victim and two gunmen climbed out.

They then unloaded the delivery parcels – the contents of which have not been disclosed – into the Toyota and drove off.

* A white NP200 bakkie was stolen from Mall@Carnival.

* A motorbike (make and model not provided) was stolen from an address along Prince George Avenue in Brenthurst.

* Car radios and batteries were stolen from vehicles at a car dealership along Heidelberg Road (R23), near Dalpark.

The stolen goods were recovered and a suspect was arrested.

• Saturday – A home in Salters Street, Brenthurst, was burgled of a gaming console, a DVD player, a laptop, a cellphone and other valuables.

* Cellphones, a TV and a gaming console were stolen from an address along Anker Street in Dalpark Extension One.

• Sunday – A vehicle parked at an address along Green Street in Brenthurst was stripped of its wheels.

* A toolbox was stolen from a car parked in Abramowitz Street, Brakpan North.
