
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:
Friday – A white Ford Bantam bakkie was stolen from Hamilton Avenue.
* A business in Prince George Avenue was burgled of two computers, a laptop, a scientific calculator and a motorcycle helmet.
* Three men travelling in a blue Volkswagen Polo made off with the contents of a courier vehicle and other valuables.
Conducting business outside the premises of a workshop along Hastings Avenue, the courier employees and a man from the workshop were threatened by a gunman, who demanded the keys to the delivery bakkie.
The incident took place at about 2.15pm.
The robbers took everything from the bakkie and robbed the man of his iPhone, some cash and two sets of keys.

Saturday- A white Toyota Etios was stolen from Mall@Carnival.
* A car parked at an address along Boven Avenue in Leachville was stripped of its wheels.
The vehicle’s battery and radio were also stolen.
* An attempt was made to steal a car parked along Beechwood Street in Dalpark.
The vehicle’s ignition system was tampered with and damaged.
Sunday – Truck batteries and a welding machine were stolen during an armed robbery at a business in Neutron Road, Vulcania.
Five men gained access to the premises around 2.20am and threatened the security guards at gunpoint.
One guard was assaulted and robbed of his personal belongings, which included a bicycle, a cellphone and a jacket.
