Covid-19: Recovery rate nears 90% mark

Nationally the active number of cases is 56 434.

South Africa’s Covid-19 statistics, dated September 11 and released by the Department of Health, shows an 88,9 per cent recovery rate.

A further 113 Covid-19 related deaths were reported bringing the total number of deaths to 15 378.

An additional 20 713 tests were conducted bringing the total number of tests to 3 884 166.

1 960 new cases were reported bringing the cumulative total to 646 398.
