Have your say on the City’s budget

The meeting for Brakpan will take place at 4pm on April 21 at the Geluksdal Hall along Uittog Avenue.

The City of Ekurhuleni will hold its Integrated Development and Planning (IDP) and Budget consultative meetings with residents and other stakeholders from April 14 to 21.

The IDP is a process through which municipalities prepare a strategic development plan, which extends over a five-year period.

This then guides and informs all planning, budgeting, management and decision-making processes in the municipality.

Through this process, members of the community have an opportunity to comment on the developmental programmes of the City.

The consultative meetings will be held at venues throughout the region and will be attended by the executive mayor and members of the Mayoral Committee, including senior officials from the City.

The draft IDP and budget, including the approved tariff structure, may be viewed on the City’s website.
