Toughlove SA launches group in Brakpan

Support group to positively impact the Brakpan community and uplift any individual in distress.

Local families looking for a solution to cope with addiction, abuse, bullying and mental illnesses, can seek now seek help from Toughlove SA.

The non-profit organisation will be holding its first monthly support group meeting in Brakpan on February 26.
These meetings are open to any individual in a crisis situation.

With few being unable to afford therapy bills, these support groups serve to provide love, counselling, mentorship, guidance and support for free.

Toughlove offers effective, practical support, and was started in 1988. With groups throughout the country, the organisation helps the families of abusers to recover from the devastating effects that substance abuse has on them.

They cover any form of unacceptable behaviour, substance abuse, addiction and support the family through any crisis they may be facing.

Toughlove, which is a donation-based NPO, is run by family members who have practised the principles and have an abuser in their families.

The NPO is not affiliated to any organisation – religious, political or social. The meeting will be held at 11:00 at 20 Sheridan Street in Dalpark.
