Youth have a part to play in the fight against crime
Young people take to the streets for recruitment drive.
The Brakpan SAPS Youth Prevention Crime Desk held a recruitment drive in Leachville and Dalpark Ext 6 on Saturday.
The drive was aimed at signing up more young people to join the fight against crime.
The enthusiastic team engaged with youngsters on the streets, explained the reason for their visit and handed out leaflets.
“Even though this was supposed to be the final drive, but because they could not reach or cover all areas of interest, the youth desk team will set another date to come back and recruit more,” said Brakpan SAPS communications officer Constable Audrey Buthelezi.
