Suspects arrested after cloned car spotted

Four suspects, one a police officer, were arrested in Boksburg on the morning of May 16 for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu explained that law enforcers noted two white Nissan Almeras with the same number plates.

“It was then found that one of the vehicles was hijacked in Brakpan and the four occupants in the car were arrested,” he explained.

Mngomezulu confirmed one of the suspects is a police officer working for a unit in Springs. He highlighted that Legendary Guardians Exclusive Protection was involved in the arrest.

The suspects will appear in court soon.
