Youth Day to be celebrated with fun activities
The event will also see a host of games at the Old Location Sports Grounds.
The month of June always presents an opportunity for the community to celebrate Youth Day and this year is no different.
The Old Location Sports Grounds will be the venue which will host a Fun Day on June 16. There will be football and netball tournaments held on the day.
The event will also see a host of games such as skipping, morabaraba, ludo and gumboot dancing.
“We are planning to unite all the youth or elderly people from Brakpan North to Central,” said organiser Justice Mohale.
Mohale believes the event will be positive for the community.
“This project will bring a healthy lifestyle and economic growth within Brakpan and the communities will transform into a new lifestyle because Covid-19 did affect a lot of people and our healthy lifestyle,” he said.
The organiser also asked for sponsors to get involved.
