Inspiring woman entrepreneur bags international award
Local businesswoman is an inspiration to the community.
Leachville resident Marcia Monareng recently embarked on a remarkable journey, representing South Africa in Kenya after receiving nominations in multiple categories at the recent FOYA Awards (Founder Of The Year awards).
Marcia scooped the title of Social Media Founder of the Year. She was also nominated in the Mediapreneur, and Most Promising Founder of the Year categories.
The young businesswoman and community development activist is the brilliant mind behind the award-winning agency, Millennial Mindset Media.
Her impressive track record includes securing two prestigious SASMA Awards, and she is currently a nominee at the esteemed SANTAM Women Of The Future Awards.
The Brakpan Herald reported in June how Marcia had made it to the top four in the service category at the Top 16 Youth-Owned Brands Awards hosted by Standard Bank.
Millennial Mindset walked away with two awards for the Most Recognised Business on Social Media and for the Best Campaign at the (SASMA) South African Social Media Awards in November 2022.
This year, Millennial Mindset Media launched its non-profit organisation called Millennial Mindset Foundation which provides a wide range of courses and training programmes that are designed to equip individuals with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.
From basic digital literacy to animation and basic computer skills, the courses are designed to meet the needs of learners at all levels.
