Weekend crime round-up
An overview of crimes reported to local SAPS from March 22 to 24.
The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past weekend:
Friday – A white Ford Everest was stolen from Voortrekker Road.
The vehicle was later recovered in Vosloorus.
Saturday – TVs, a generator, a vacuum cleaner and other valuables were stolen during a burglary at a business along Kitzinger Avenue.
• A white Nissan NP200 was stolen from an address along Hosking Street in Brenthurst.
Sunday – Two burglaries took place.
A home in Malan Street, Sherwood Gardens, was burgled of a TV, laptops, shoes, clothing and other household goods, while a TV was stolen during a break-in at a residence in Smyly Street, Brenthurst.
• A scooter was stolen from an address along Hamilton Avenue.
