One dead, three injured in Saturday night shooting
Barrage of bullets unleashed on four men.
Gunfire erupted on the quiet back roads of Brakpan on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a man.
A case of murder and three cases of attempted murder are under investigation following the shooting, which saw four men come under heavy fire while driving in the area.
According to local police, the victims are foreign nationals.
Brakpan SAPS received a report of the shooting just after 20:00 and officers proceeded to the corner of Madeley Street and Hamilton Avenue.
Upon arrival, they found a silver Toyota Yaris peppered with bullet holes with two wounded men inside.

A man seated in the back sustained two gunshot wounds to the head, one to the back and another to the hand.
He was later declared dead on the scene. The other man was also shot in the head and he was taken by ambulance to the Far East Rand Hospital.
The two other victims, whose injuries were not disclosed, were also taken to hospital.
A firearm and an undisclosed amount of cash were found in the Yaris. The deceased was taken to the Springs mortuary.
