Dancers take to the floor at SA Dance Foundation Gauteng Championships

Five of the dancers obtained podium spots at the championships.

Five dancers from the Saltare Family Dance School in Brakpan achieved podium spots at the South African Dance Federation Gauteng Pro-Am Championships in Edenvale on July 27.

Collectively, the school secured three first, two second and three third places. Kirsten Reyneke attained two first places in the youth category of the international bronze ballroom and Latin America sections.

Joshua Oelofse participated in the youth category for international bronze ballroom and Latin American dance, attaining a second for ballroom and a third for Latin.



Wiehan Rudolph danced in adult international bronze ballroom, for which he attained first place.

Annerette Odendaal danced in adult international bronze ballroom and Latin America, getting a first for ballroom and a third for Latin.

Carli Fourie danced in adult international novice ballroom and earned second place. Anton Pretorius owns the school. Those interested in dancing may call him on 084 499 5462.
