A Family Colour Fun Run will be held in benefit of the Red Cross Eventide Old Age Home from 07:00 on 7 Derby Avenue. Tickets cost R80 per person and include two colour powders. There will be a car wash, children’s play area and food on sale. Call 010 023 6476 or WhatsApp 061 396 9321.
• I-Care Collective and various NPOs and stakeholders are holding a street shower at the parking lot of the EMPD offices near RATA (Park Street). They will be there from 05:00 until all are helped with a new set of clothes, a warm shower, food, medical checkup and a haircut and manicure. Die Kerk van God van Profesie, Emmanuel Bediening, te 26 Hamiltonlaan, bied hul jaarlikse kermis en gemeenskap uitreiking vanaf 09:00 aan. Toegang is gratis, en tweedehandse klere sal aan behoeftiges uitgedeel word. Daar sal ook ‘n verskeidenheid kosstalletjies en gebeurlikhede deur die loop van die oggend wees.

The Businessman Prayer group, Brakpan, is holding a men’s prayer meeting with singer Jo Black at the El Roi Teater in Dalpark from 09:30. The aim of the meeting is to bring hope in difficult times. For more information contact Willie Olwage on 082 926 1391.

Just Wheels Motorklub maandelikse opedag vind by die klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 169, plaas. ‘n Groot verskeidenheid stalletjies, lekker kos, vermaak en ponieritte, asook ‘n uitstalling van voertuie wag op besoekers. Die SANBD sal ook teenwoordig wees vir diegene wat wil bloed skenk. Die toegang is gratis.

The Brakpan Ringball Club will host a golf day at the State Mines Country Club. Tee-off time is 11:00, and the prize-giving will start at 18:00. To enter or get involved as a sponsor, call Corry Labuschagne on 060 971 9459.

• Die Golden Oldies Klub vergader elke Donderdag in die saal van die Adullam Biker Ecclesia, Gardinerstraat 134. Die klub is vir pensionarisse, en bied verskillende aktiwiteite aan. Lede se bloeddruk word ook weekliks gemeet. Vir meer inligting, skakel Ursula Ewards by 082 491 6217.

• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
• Die Brakpan-tak van die Vroue Landbou Unie vergader elke tweede Dinsdag van die maand om 10:00 by die Just Wheels Motorklub klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 169. Belangstellendes kan Elsabe Grobler by 082 891 4514 kontak.
