Just Wheels Motorklub maandelikse opedag in die vorm van ‘n bakkie-dag vind by die klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 169, plaas. ‘n Groot verskeidenheid stalletjies, lekker kos, vermaak en ponieritte asook ‘n uitstalling van voertuie wag op besoekers. Die SANBD sal ook teenwoordig wees vir diegene wat wil bloed skenk. Die toegang is gratis.

• October 31
The Brakpan Ringball Club will host a golf day at the State Mines Country Club. Tee-off time is 11:00 and the prizegiving will start at 18:00. To enter or to get involved as a sponsor, contact Corry Labuschagne on 060 971 9459.

• 10 November
Die NG Kerk, Brakpan-Oos, op die op die hoek van Boundaryweg en Lappingstraat, Brenthurst nooi almal uit om Kerssangdiens by te woon om 9:00. Die sanggroep Tehila sal optree. Toegang is gratis maar ‘nvrywillige deurkollekte kan gemaak word. Karwagte sal op diens wees.

• 17 Novmeber
Vrede op aarde – ‘n Kersfeesmelodie word by die NG Kerk, Moedergemeente, Vitorialaan 73, aangebied om 9:00. Gewilde Kersliedere van bekende klassieke kunstenaars sal opgevoer word. Die toegang is gratis met vrywillige skenkings.

November 29
The Brakpan SPCA’s Golf Day will take place at the State Mines Country Club. Registration starts at 10:00 with tee-off at 10:45. A fourball costs R3 000 and includes two golf carts and dinner. Hole sponsorships are also available. Email manager@brakpanspca.co.za

• Die Golden Oldies Klub vergader elke Donderdag in die saal van die Adullam Biker Ecclesia, Gardinerstraat 134. Die klub is vir pensionarisse en bied verskillende aktiwiteite aan. Lede se bloeddruk word ook weekliks gemeet. Vir meer inligting, skakel Ursula Ewards by 082 491 6217.

• Die NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, op die hoek van Bourdaryweg en Lappingstraat, hou elke Vrydagaand vanaf 18:30 ‘n buitelug Praise and Worship. Belangstellendes kan komberse of tuinstoele bring om op te sit. Kontak Anton Pretorius by 084 499 5462 vir meer inligting.

• Brakpan parkrun is every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.

• Die Brakpan-tak van die VLU vergader elke tweede Dinsdag van die maand om 10:00 by die Just Wheels Motorklub klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 169. Belangstellendes kan Elsabe Grobler by 082 891 4514 kontak.

• A second-hand clothing sale will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 11:30 at the NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, corner of Boundary Road and High Street. Get good-quality clothing at discount prices. Call Hester Bosch on 083 307 0649.
