Mother’s Nest appeals for donations of winter clothes for children

Toddler to teen clothes are needed to help keep the children warm this winter.

Mother’s Nest, a place of safety in Brenthurst for children in distress, is in dire need of winter clothes, among other things, for the children in their care.

The home, at 19 Pienaar Street, has cared for children for more than 30 years and currently homes 19 children between the ages of four and 18.

Sixteen of those children are girls.

In addition to clothes, the home also requires sheets, pillows and other household items. They do, however, have enough blankets.

Donations can be dropped off at the home, but they are also willing to collect donations.

To arrange collections, call Bonita Roast on 011 817 2668.
