New future for Brakpan SPCA’s thrift shop

The society is looking forward to welcoming customers to their larger Bargain Barkers store at Mall@Carnival.

The Brakpan SPCA’s thrift shop has found a permanent home for the next year. The local society proudly opened the Bargain Barkers Thrift Store as a pop-up venture located opposite the Telkom store at Mall@Carnival in November.

From April 1, the shop will operate from its new permanent home in the mall, next to Game. The SPCA has been offered a 12-month lease.

The larger space will mean more bargains and more ways to support the SPCA.

The store has second-hand and new items, including clothes, fiction and non-fiction books, vinyl records, CDs and DVDs, jewellery, ornaments and homeware, gaming accessories and plenty more.

The SPCA thanked the mall, and customers and supporters for the overwhelming support. With the move, the society has also appealed for donations of clothing display rails.
