Brakpan parkrun to host special event for Freedom Day

The Brakpan parkrun will hold two events on the weekend of April 26 to celebrate Freedom Day.

The regular weekly run will be on Saturday, and an additional 5km fun run will be held on April 27 to celebrate the public holiday.

Both runs start at 08:00 on the grounds of the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre.

Anyone wanting to volunteer as a marshal can call run director Madalane Becker on 069 868 7912.
