Soul Outreach reopens affordable overnight shelter: Donations needed

The overnight shelter costs R60 a night, and the weekly soup kitchen will also reopen.

The Soul Outreach Community Upliftment reopened its overnight shelter on 118 Hamilton Avenue at R60 a night, where those in need can get a warm shower, a clean bed and a safe place to stay overnight.

The shelter is starting from scratch, and needs beds, bedding and clothes.

On top of the shelter, they will reopen the soup kitchen, which hands out food every Thursday at the Hamilton Avenue address from 15:00 to 16:00.

Support the shelter by calling Belinda Coetzer on 076 167 4328 to arrange to drop off donations or collections.
