Worthy Ministry brings warmth to the homeless in Brakpan

Worthy Ministry, led by Pastor Loraine du Plessis, distributed warm blankets to homeless individuals in the community on June 1.

The ministry meets every Sunday in the parking lot of the Brakpan EMPD offices.

“We offer not only spiritual encouragement but also a warm plate of food for those in need. This Sunday, it was on our hearts to give each person a blanket along with their meal,” said Loraine.

“Especially in the colder months, we want them to know they are not forgotten. The ministry gathers at 11:00, and everyone is welcome to join, whether they are there to receive, serve or simply connect.”
