Brakpan CPF Sector 4 chair receives top honour

Among the honorees was Brakpan CPF Sector 4 chairperson Jessy Naicker, who received a special award and bulletproof vest for his unwavering service.

Brakpan Sector 4 CPF chairperson Magendrin “Jessy” Naicker was recognised for his tireless work in the fight against crime by the Civilian Crime Intelligence Network (CCIN) .

The CCIN’s annual conference and awards were held on September 13 at Capital Air at Rand Airport in Germiston. The conference highlights the power of private and law enforcement partnerships in the fight against crime.

The event showcased the strength of private partnerships in combating crime, with key stakeholders from law enforcement, the security industry, business and CPFs coming together to share insights and best practices.

CCIN was founded by CEO Dr Reza Patel and is led by an executive committee. Naicker was awarded a certificate in recognition of outstanding service rendered beyond the call of duty.

The proprietor of Civilian Protection Services, Evans Chang, sponsored and presented a level 4 bulletproof vest to Naicker for his contribution as a member of CCIN.

Some of the high profile dignitaries present at the event included Gauteng SAPS provincial commissioner Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni, Major General Feroz Khan of the anti-kidnapping unit, former Gauteng provincial commissioner Lieutenant General Elias Mawela, and acting EMPD chief Brigadier Dayaan Singh.
