Local karatekas on their way to Worlds in Japan

The four members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club obtained their national colours.

Members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club, under the guidance of instructors Chris and Christopher Anthony, have been awarded their Karatenomichi World Federation (KWF) South Africa national colours.

They will proudly represent South Africa at the upcoming KWF World Championships in Japan on October 5.

“Before competing, the team will attend advanced training seminars led by KWF chief instructor shihan Mikio Yahara (10th Dan) and shihan Malcolm Dorfman (9th Dan). This will be a valuable opportunity to learn from some of the world’s highest-ranking karate masters,” said Christopher.
