Local skills development centre to raise funds with cupcake sales

The cupcakes help reduce poverty and unemployment by contributing to the skills development of impoverished youth.

Siyabonga Africa, a local skills development centre empowering impoverished youth, is once again selling Valentine’s cupcakes to raise funds.

“This fundraiser plays an important role in helping us raise much-needed funds to continue our skills development and youth empowerment programmes here in Brakpan,” said Jacob Legodi, the fundraiser for the centre.

The cupcakes are R10 each, and orders close on February 9, but payments can be made after or upon collection on February 13 at 30A Muriel Brand Street.

Bigger orders could get you a chance to win a Netflorist gift hamper, and to enter the raffle, you just buy a dozen or more and pay before February 9 to automatically be entered for the draw.

The draw takes place on February 10, and the winner will receive their gift on their doorstep on Valentine’s Day.

Orders can be placed via WhatsApp on 072 848 8315 or by calling 011 744 4350. Payments can be made through cash or card.

Spoil your loved ones this Valentine’s Day while supporting a good cause.
