Empty bowls at Brakpan SPCA as tinned food supplies run critically low

The local society is facing a shortage of tinned dog food, with cat food supplies also running low, prompting an urgent call for community support.

The Brakpan SPCA has issued an urgent appeal for donations of pet food following a depletion of its tinned dog food stock and critically low supplies of cat food.

While animals at the society continue to receive their daily kibble, tinned food plays an essential role in providing additional nutrition and improving the quality of life for animals awaiting adoption.

Community members are encouraged to assist by donating tinned dog and cat food.

To make contributions as convenient as possible, donations can be sent directly to the society through delivery services such as Checkers 60/60, Takealot, Mr D Food, or any other delivery platform.

The delivery address is 96 Denne Road in Witpoort.

Those who wish to deliver donations in person are welcome to visit the SPCA between 09:00 and 16:00 on weekdays, and between 09:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.
