This local boxer is strong competition in his age group, winning with a ref stop contest at the recent Bert Collins tournament in Springs.
Local boxer Kosie Roos stood out at the recent amateur boxing tournament at the Bert Collins Boxing Club in Springs, held on February 28.
The young fighter beat his opponent, CJ Jonker from Rustenburg, with an RSCI (ref stop contest – injury).
Kosie injured his opponent to the point that he was unable to continue, making Kosie the winner in his first round and earning him a gold medal.
