Slapfight champions Pieter “Bulldog” Vorster and Terrence “Supra” Labuschagne, both Brakpan residents, appeared in council on March 26 to receive recognition from the City of Ekurhuleni for their victories in the Super Heavyweight and Heavyweight titles respectively.

They were congratulated by the Executive Mayor Ald Nkosindiphile Xhakaza, speaker Clr John Senona and chief whip Ald Pelisa Nkunjana.

Vorster has won the title of super heavyweight champion twice, and Labuschagne won the heavyweight title for the first time against previously undefeated fighter, Bobby “The Punisher” Krisch.
