Cosy Corner hosts winter market for Brakpan SPCA and East Rand Children’s Haven

Residents are invited to a festive Winter Wonderland Market at Cosy Corner today, where food, crafts and entertainment come together to support two struggling local organisations.

The community is invited to a Winter Wonderland Market at Cosy Corner, at 12 Zeeman Street, Brenthurst, today (Saturday, June 6), to raise funds for two local organisations.

Brakpan SPCA and East Rand Children’s Haven (ERCH) are both in dire straits and in need of funds to keep operating and protecting animals and children.

The market will feature food stalls, crafts, toys, drinks and live entertainment, while also serving as a donation drive.

Visitors are encouraged to contribute items such as blankets, toys, collars, dog and cat food, and non-perishable food suitable for children.

Entertainment for the day includes pony rides, music and a special appearance by local slapfight champion Pieter ‘Bulldog’ Vorster.

Organisers hope the event will bring the community together in support of two vital local causes.
