Monica Willemse, director of African Rewinders, a long-standing armature winding business in Brakpan, attended the prestigious 2026 Woman of Stature Awards South Africa on Saturday evening, where she was recognised as a finalist in the CEO of the Year category.

The glittering function was held at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg.

“Although I did not win, it was a great honour,” she said the Springs resident.
