Two motorists fell victim to hijackers in separate incidents in Brakpan on Friday.
According to information received from local SAPS, the first incident took place at an address along Germains Avenue at 06:20.
The victim reversed his vehicle, a metallic blue and black Nissan Sani, out of his yard and stopped outside the gate.
He got out of the vehicle to check a faulty light when he was confronted by an unknown number of men armed with guns.

They pushed him to the ground and threatened him.
The hijackers then drove off in his vehicle, adding his house keys, wallet, personal documents, bank cards and cellphone to their loot.
Tools valued at R500 were also inside the car. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Wattville, Benoni.

The second victim, a taxi driver, was robbed of the white Toyota Quantum after picking up four men in Tsakani at around 16:30.
The ‘passengers’ told the driver they wanted to go Brakpan but then instructed him to take them to Boksburg.
While driving along Airport Drive in Dalpark, the men threatened the driver with a gun.
They tied his hands and feet and assaulted him as they drove to Dunswart. Cases of hijacking are under investigation.
