Decomposed body found in Brakpan North veld

Brakpan police are calling on members of the public with missing loved ones to come forward after the decomposed body of an elderly man was found on Sunday.

The deceased was found in the veld along Carlstein Street in Brakpan North. He was wearing brown pants, a brown jersey and gumboots.

Blankets, clothes, a bucket and a pan were found near the body.

Anyone who knows the deceased or his relatives is urged to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Warren Kennedy, on 011 744 4111.
