Reminder: Rand Water maintenance to affect Brakpan
Maintenance work is also scheduled to continue next week.
The next phase of Rand Water maintenance resumed today (July 19) and will affect Brakpan residents.
The maintenance is scheduled from 07:00 today to 02:00 tomorrow (July 20).
The CoE will mitigate the impact by providing water tankers at strategic points to ensure residents have water for domestic purposes.
The affected suburbs and areas are Helderwyk Estates, Dalpark Exts 1, 9 and 11, Carnival City and Mall@Carnival.
The Ergo mine area will be affected from 07:00 today until 22:00 tomorrow.

Next week, there will be intermittent supply/low water pressure to no water pressure in various Brakpan suburbs and areas.
This maintenance will take place from 03:00 on July 26 to 08:00 on July 29.
The affected areas are Helderwyk Estates, Dalpark, Leachville, Dalview, Van Eck Park, Rand Collieries, Brakpan, Brakpan North, Larrendale, Denneoord, Minnebron, Sunair Park, Sonneveld, Kenleaf, Brenthurst, Anzac, Sallies Village, Vulcania and Maryvlei.
