Slap fighters face off at action-packed event

There were exciting wins and devastating losses at the major slapfight event.

Punisher Slapfight had an explosive event at Downtown Pub and Grill on February 28, with several fights on the cards.

There were a couple of knock-out blows, with spectacular wins and devastating losses. Jacques ‘Bosvark’ Hessel lost against Keagan ‘Klein Marx’ Marx. Vernon ‘Six Guns’ Kroezen beat Shaun Tjoppies Scheepers.

One of the more notable fights was between retiring super heavyweight champion Pieter ‘Bulldog’ Vorster, who beat Morne ‘God’s Soldier’ Dreyer with one slap and a full knockout.

The co-main event, the official lightweight championship, was between Florida Sakata from the Democratic Republic of Congo, against Chris ‘Dynamite’ Steenkamp. Chris walked away victorious.

The main event, an absolute spectacle for the crowd, was between previously unbeaten heavyweight champion Bobby ‘the Punisher’ Krisch and Terrence ‘Supra’ Labuschagne.

Terrence, a leg amputee who is a proud representation for disabled sportspeople, took the win and the heavyweight title with a single knockout blow.
