ExED learners donate, volunteer at Brakpan SPCA

The learners used funds from the ExED On the Go project to support the local animal welfare society.

ExED Private School learners used funds raised by the recent ExED On the Go project to support the Brakpan SPCA, a cause near and dear to their hearts.

As reported by the Brakpan Herald in June, the ExED on the Go project warmed bodies and hearts for a week to raise funds.

This was done by selling warm drinks and treats to parents and passers-by. The student council and other learners paid a visit to the local society on July 10 to drop off donations and to help clean the kennels and play with the animals.

“Thank you very much to all our awesome ExED parents, learners, outside sponsors and teachers. Today the SPCA experienced the ExED family caring for animals. They are extremely thankful,” said principal Rene Partington.
