Residents were asked what they would do to make a difference if they could be the mayor of Ekurhuleni for one day.

Jamie James - Littering would be my top priority as it can drastically affect the environment for years to come.

If you could be the mayor of Ekurhuleni for one day, what would you do?

Leishka Singh – I would provide money to those in need so there is no need for anybody to steal or commit crime.

Chivaan Singh – The first thing I would do is stop prostitution and the second is to think of a plan on how to help the poor out of their debt.

Wilma James – I would make sure that the garbage gets disposed properly and that it happens every day.

Samuel Porthen – I would make sure I get the potholes fixed and no one would be able to buy cigarettes without an ID.
