Super sideways action
If you were at the Rock Raceway on Saturday, September 7, you may be forgiven for seeing things just a little bit sideways from now on.

Tyre smoking action and frighteningly close to the wall sideways manoeuvres left the large gathering of spectators in awe.
This was the third round of the Cambees Midas Drift Championship 2013 at the Rock and the 28 competitors who took their vehicles to the tar definitely did not disappoint.
The initial 28 drivers took to the track in the qualifying rounds with the knowledge that 12 of them would face the cut and make the top 16 tandem battles.
The 12 who did not make the grade competed in an elimination challenge of their own dubbed the Silver Cup.
All the drivers in the top 16 put in some top quality tandem challenges and the final pitted Hannes Frans, in the SA Argus Nissan Skyline R32 against Imtyaz Daly, also in a Nissan Skyline, and it was Frans who claimed the third round win.
