Brutal boxing battle
An eventful night of boxing, organised by BRD Promotions and dubbed the “Boxing Explosion”, was held at Carnival City on Thursday, October 31.
The results of the night’s bouts are:
- Junior Middleweight four rounds: Stanis Kulondi vs Vusi Bilankulu. Kulondi won by unanimous decision.
- Junior Welterweight four rounds: Shannon Strydom vs Brandon Bocking.
- Super Middleweight six rounds: Walter Dlamini vs Hanson Baloyi. Dlamini won by unanimous decision to stretch his record to 12-0.
- Cruiserweight six rounds: Deon Coetzee vs Jean Lutete. Coetzee won by majority points decision.
- Middleweight six rounds: Dwayne Combrink vs Charles Musafiri. Combrink won by KO 1:18 into the first round.
- Welterweight eight rounds: Jarred Silverman vs Stone van Aswegen. Silverman won by unanimous decision.
- Junior Welterweight eight rounds: Warren Joubert vs Masterd Mangalaza. Joubert won by unanimous decision in a match that went the distance.
