Two in a row for Dalpark
Dalpark Football Club (DFC) are on the up in the Benoni South League Football Association (BSLFA) Division One, and a second win in a row for the team has given the players immense confidence ahead of their final two fixtures, this weekend.
The league will take a break from this weekend until the second week of January.
On Saturday, November 23, DFC defeated ACS 4-2, and another win, against Benfica on Saturday, November 30, kept the momentum going for coach Brian Fray’s team.
According to the coach, the team played very well to win the game 3-0.
Victor Famodimo definitely had his shooting boots on and scored the first hat trick by a DFC player this season.
“The team played as a unit and can only improve on the excellent performances shown in the last two games,” said Fray.
The team will play Red Rovers on Saturday, December 7, at 1.45pm, and on Sunday, December 8, at noon.
Both matches will be played on the William Hills High School grounds, in Actonville.
