Whitfield wins at Royal Oak
The Gauteng Central Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of South Africa Pro-Am was held at the Royal Oak Country Club recently.
Rudy Whitfield was the best individual player on the day, shooting an excellent 63 to win the tournament.
The best team at Pro-Am was the team of Michael du Toit (Pro), Dean Hausberger, Aubrey Vorster and Chris Bedser.
The top eight individual results from the tournament are: 1 R Whitfield 63, 2 M du Toit 67, 3 M Mizen 69, 4 A Labuschagne 69, 5 K Dube 70, 6 R Rudolph 71, 6 C Ward 71, 8 D Plumb 72, 8 P Montgomery 72, 8 E Liebenberg 72.
The top three teams from the Pro-Am are: 1 M Du Toit, D Hausburger, C Bedser and A Vorster 94, 2 A Labuschagne, R Ludick, L Fritz and P Labuschagne 93, 3 K Dube, S Tsubele, W Ebeling and H du Plessis.
