Some of the club’s wrestlers were outstanding at the South African Wrestling Federation’s 2018 President and Veterans Championships in Pretoria.
These Brakpan Wrestling Club youngsters represented at the South African Wrestling Federation’s President Championship in Pretoria and were winners. They are Chris Jansen (bronze medal boys’ 24kg freestlye), Rassie Erasmus (coach of the presidents team) and Jessica Hinrichsen (gold freestyle women). It was a special achievement for Henrichsen who made it a second South African title in two years. Sadly for the club, she will be emigrating in May.
