Brakpan boxers participate in Joburg tournament
The inter-club tournament was attended by six boxers and four coaches.
Brakpan Boxing Club attended a club tournament at the Newville Boxing Club in Johannesburg on September 5, with six boxers and four coaches.
Coaches attending with the boxers were Koos Roos, Armand van der Westhuizen, Steven Labuschagne and Bennie Pretorius.
The results of the boxers’ matches were as follows:
• Etienne Coetzer won his match with a referee stoppage (RSC).
• Antonio Laranja won in the second round, when his opponent abandoned the match.
• JP Visagie, Rayden Marias and Braam Labuschagne lost on points.
