Stage is set for Spring Fiesta
There is no better way to welcome spring than with an outdoor festival and a day of fun in the sun.
The City of Ekurhuleni, in partnership with Soul Candi, brings you another mega-instalment of the Spring Fiesta.
The Fourth Spring Fiesta is one of the flagship entertainment festivities that continue to position Ekurhuleni on the tourism map, as one of the best destinations to do business and to have fun.
The stage is set and, on October 4, the Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg will be buzzing with all sorts of musical entertainment.
Festival-goers are set to experience an array of musical extravaganzas, with a star-studded line-up unleashing only the best of local and international acts on six stages, guaranteed to captivate the crowd all day long.
According to metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe, the Spring Fiesta is one of the many events the municipality hosts to promote social cohesion and co-existence.
“This year’s partnership with Soul Candi will give aspiring DJs and artists an opportunity to be part of an exciting learning programme that consists of four interactive workshops, to equip the next generation of music industry leaders with foundational tools to start their journey,” he said.
The spring fiesta festival is known for bringing international heavyweight house DJs to serenade the crowd on the Soul Candi main stage.
This year is no different and the well-known and loved Layabouts, featuring the songbirds Imaani and Portia Monique, will again be gracing the event as the international guest artists.
