Kahn goes solo at Emperors

The Parlotones lead vocalist Kahn Morbee is set to take his debut solo album on a launch tour across Barnyard Theatres around South Africa.

Between band touring and showcasing his solo material, Kahn has been hard at work at Brendan Jury’s Light Palace Studio’s completing work on his debut album ‘Salt’.

The album takes listeners into a whole new body of work that has seen Kahn explore different genres and song writing styles.

The material feels like a Kahn project, rather than a something one would say sounds just like ‘The Parlotones’.

Accompanied by a new backing band, Kahn will embark on his debut launch tour early in 2015 with the tour opening at The Barnyard, Emperors Palace, on Sunday, January 25.

Kahn’s launch tour will be supported by Glen Hodgson’s Lost&Found, as well an exhibition of Parlotones drummer Neil Pauw’s latest works.

The show starts at 8pm.
