Laerskool Brakpan-Oos vier sy 80ste bestaansjaar met ‘n fees op die skool se rugbyveld, vanaf 6nm. Verskeie kunstenaars tree op en ‘n bring-en-braai sal plaasvind. Vir meer inligting, kontak die skool (011 740-9630).
Die NG Kerk, Brakpan-Wes, se bekende jaarlikse “Warm Winter Wes Kermis” vind vanaf 1nm op die kerkterrein plaas, op die hoek van Reitz- en Paul Krugerstraat, Dalview. Potjiekos-, Pannekoek-, Koeksister-, Lekkergoed- en ‘n verskeidenheid ander stalletjies, vermaak en ‘n gesellige atmosfeer.
