Join the Sibikwa Arts Centre in celebrating women
Mothers and daughters are encouraged to attend together and be part of this fun day .
The Sibikwa Arts Centre in Benoni has a long tradition of promoting women’s rights and their well-being.
In keeping with these values, Sibikwa will be hosting a celebration of women on Sunday, August 25, under the theme “Seriti sa Basadi” (Dignity of Women).
The goal of “Seriti sa Basadi” is to bring women of all ages together to celebrate womanhood and create an environment where women can share their ideas, experiences and enjoy themselves.
Mothers and daughters are encouraged to attend together and be part of this fun day .

Performances on the day include live music by Zoe Modiga and Saxy Sthe, comedy by Stella Dlangalala, poetry by Wazi M Kunene and storytelling by Faith Busika.
The MC will be Khanyi Magubane.
The programme includes a motivational talk by author Jackie Phamotse, firefighting in the home and first aid demonstrations by the Benoni Fire Department, a make-up demonstration, pamper and massage sessions and the last act of the day is a surprise for the ladies.
Spoil yourself with the fashion and jewellery on sale.
Be tempted by the home-made kasie food.
Free and safe parking is available.
The event starts at 10am at the Sibikwa Arts Centre, which is situated at 13 Liverpool Road in Benoni.
