‘Sokkie’ the year away with top Afrikaans stars

Ring in the New Year at Carnival City.

Carnival City will once again host the highly popular New Year’s Eve Super Sokkie in the Big Top Arena on December 31.

This is the fifth year that the hit after hit dance party will take place on New Year’s Eve.

Revellers ringing in 2020 at the event will be invited to take to the floor and “sokkie’ to the music of some of South Africa’s foremost Afrikaans stars.

Collaborating for the massive New Year’s Eve SuperSokkie at the Big Top Arena are Kurt Darren, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Dirk van der Westhuizen, Juan Boucher and Die Campbells.

Over the past five years, Super Sokkie has proven to be the ultimate New Year celebration, with thousands of Afrikaans music lovers flocking to dance their way into the next year.

The Super Sokkie starts at 9pm. Tickets are priced from R175 a person at Computicket.
