A resident of Umlaas Street in Carletonville had a harrowing experience this week.
The woman (53) was busy cleaning her home when three unknown men walked into her house at about 12:15 on Tuesday 28 May.
The thugs were armed with an iron pipe and forced the woman into her bedroom. They then forced her to lie down and covered her with a blanket so that she could not see what they did.
The robbers then proceeded to search the home.
They then opened the safe and took the firearm, money and jewelry that was inside.
